Reentry Reimagined Summit on April 3

Penn State’s Restorative Justice Initiative will be hosting the The ‘Reentry Reimagined’ summit on April 3. The summit aims to bring together communities and build coalitions to address the challenges faced by those transitioning from incarceration to society and seeking educational opportunities. The sessions will cover essential support areas, including reentry assistance, engagement with affected families and communities, spiritual leaders/advocacy, and strategies for improving access to higher education for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals. Joined by experts and community leaders, the summit seeks to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of a reimagined reentry system with equitable pathways to education and empowerment for those impacted by the criminal justice system.

The Criminal Justice Research Center is a co-sponsor for this event.
