Consortium to Combat Substance Abuse Announces Catalyst Award Program

CCSA invites proposals for the Catalyst Award Program, which is designed to facilitate the external submission of large or complex grant proposals that will address issues related to substance use and addiction. We seek interdisciplinary Penn State teams to develop innovative grant proposals with high likelihood of being funded externally to support interdisciplinary research or training on topics related to substance use and addiction, which can range from basic science/discovery to dissemination and implementation science.

Please note that this award is not designed to support the submission of traditional R01 applications and is aimed at teams planning to submit grants designed to go beyond advancing the research of an individual. Projects should advance a program of research or training initiative that cuts across disciplines, colleges, and/or campuses.

Concept Sheet Proposals are due on March 29, 2021. Please visit our website for more information.
