Biography:
Dixin Li is a postdoctoral scholar with the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing and the Criminal Justice Research Center at Penn State. Her research broadly falls into two branches: the distribution of criminal punishment and its consequences. Specifically, her work has focused on contextual variations in sentencing and prosecution, criminal justice reform, and the social and political collateral consequences faced by people with criminal records. Dixin received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
