“‘The video is an upgrade from them all’: How Incarcerated Fathers View the Affordances of Video in a Family Literacy Programme” published in Learning, Media, and Technology

Tabitha Stickel, Ph.D. candidate, Esther Prins, Professor of Education, and Anna Kaiper-Marquez, Assistant Teaching Professor, recently published a paper on “‘The video is an upgrade from them all’: how incarcerated fathers view the affordances of video in a family literacy programme” in Learning, Media, and Technology. The Criminal Justice Research Center supported part of this work through a 2018 seed grant award for the “Read to Your Child/Grandchild: Family Literacy for Incarcerated Parents in Pennsylvania” project.
